Introduction
The 2020 IADC International Well Control Conference will seek to examine the innovations that are shaping the future of well control, from technology to personnel competencies.
This event will focus on timely technical presentations highlighting recent developments and innovations in technology, techniques, training, management systems, and a wide variety of other topics that affect well control. Presentations that pose provocative questions and prompt discussion are especially welcome.

NOTE: Selected abstracts might be assigned to interactive panel discussions, rather than scheduled as conventional presentations.
Authors are invited to submit proposals for presentations at the conference. For consideration, an abstract for each proposed paper must be submitted to IADC no later than 31st of March 2020. Authors of papers selected will receive confirmation letters and guidelines by Mid-May 2020. Please note that formal papers are encouraged but are NOT required for this conference.
Prior to paper proposal submission, management clearance must be obtained. Any issues concerning clearance should be outlined when the paper proposal is submitted.

TIPS FOR A GOOD ABSTRACT AND PRESENTATION: Communicate the strategic value of your proposal. Use Case Studies to the greatest extent possible. Conclude the presentation by summarizing the Big Idea encapsulated in your talk and its ultimate impact. Further, this conference prizes diversity in ethnicity and gender.

Exhibition Information
Cost for the 3 x 2 meter Table Top Space + 2 complimentary registrations is EUR 2.500.
The space will be set with a skirted table (size 180 cm wide x 45 cm deep, 80 cm height), two chairs and access to electricity. With the space, you receive 2 complimentary/free conference registrations and up to 2 additional registrations at half price (EUR 375).
- Exhibitors can set-up between 18.00-23.59 hours on Monday 12 October 2020.
- You may tear down your booth space on Wednesday 14 October after 16.00 hours.
- The exhibitor space is a 3 x 2 meter area. Maximum height is 2,5 meters. It will be set with a skirted table (size 180 cm wide x 45 cm deep, 80 cm height) and two chairs with access to electricity. Please do not exceed the given space as the exhibition area will be limited.
- Wall space for signs/banners will not be available. All signs/banners must be affixed to the table or free standing.
- All personnel working the exhibition must be registered.
Exhibitions at IADC events will be limited to showcasing products and services that advance technology, competency or HSE. Exhibitions centered on recruitment or employment should not take space at IADC events. IADC Membership is mandatory for booking an exhibition space at this event. Non-members will receive an USD 200 discount on their IADC Membership when booking exhibition space. IADC Exhibitions will solely be visited by conference attendees. Non-conference attendees are not allowed to enter the exhibition area.
